Hey all,

I have just bought a Toshiba laptop in Australia and am wondering if I can still use the modem connections in Sth Korea (will arrive in 3 weeks)? I know I will need to buy a battery connection (figure Cool as the power connections are different there. But what about the typical phone/ modem connections? I have both a network card and dial up sockets on the computer, though I am hoping (depending on price) to just get a cable internet connection.

Will my laptop be okay there?

First of all welcome to Korea!!

Secondly, when you are here you will not use your modem, trust me. Very Happy

You will use your LAN port for internet.

In relation to your salary its a pittance for DSL or cable.
