Ok,

I wanna set my xbox up. I have it modded but up till now I had been bringing it to Youngsan and getting them to put stuff on. Now I want to be able to do it myself. Ive read a couple of the how tos online... but I seem to be missing something.

Can someone explain it to me like I was a 6 year old....

I have a router, and ether net cable, and the programs....although not sure what to do with any of it. switches up down around, what programs. what do i do with them> burn Iso's, flash drives... can you dumb it down for me?

I really wanna download some toreents and watch some home tv..... not to mention delet all the old games and add new ones...

Cheers all

Happy new year

Step 1: Download AceFTP

Step 2: Download Azureus

Step 3: Download WinRar

Step 4: Downoad cxboxtool

Step 3: Head to xbox-sky (or any other torrent page)

Step 4: Download the stuff you want

Step 5: Convert it using WinRar

Step 6: Convert extracted WinRar file using cxboxtool ISO converter

Step 7: Transfer the final product from your PC to the Xbox F drive (to the HDD file in the F drive or whatever, Games file works too. Use AceFTP, or any one of dozens of other ways).

If you use AceFTP, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open "View Network Connections" and right click on your connection (for instance "Local Area Connection"). Click properties. enter an IP such as 192.168.0.123 or whatever. Then click on the "subnet mask" and one will magically appear

Step 2: Attach your PC to your console using a cable you picked up for a chon won at the local stationary store.

Step 3: Turn on your console **NOTE** The order you turn on your PC and Xbox (Xbox last) makes all the difference.

Step 4: Activate AceFTP. After clicking "Connect" set your user name and password as "Xbox" and set an IP address such as 192.168.0.2 or whatever. Click "Enter". Your PC should connect, and you'll see a bunch of files on the right side (the Xbox side, for instance A, B, C, D, E, etc.) and your converted game/movie/porn files from your PC on the left side.

Step 5: Click on the "F" file on the Xbox side. Under that, click on the "Games" or "HDD" file.

Step 6: Click on the file you wish to transfer (from the PC side) and click "Copy" (the blue arrow pointing right). Wait.

Step 7: After transfer is complete, turn off your Xbox, disconnect the wire, restore your IP address on your PC (choose "Find IP automatically).

Step 8: Power up your Xbox and there it is.

Cheers.

note, that sounds painfully complicated, but is really simple- it really is a matter of just changing cords and changing you IP address. Takes 2 seconds to set up
