Hi
Ive been searching for a six month teaching contract with little luck, the reason I need a 6mth contract is a long story but I do...

Ive posted my one 6mth contract offer which was slated in another post, so now my question is:

Should I:
just take a year contract knowing i WILL be bailing after 5-6mths
OR keep looking for a 6mths contract
OR just take the not so good contract- it's only 6mths...(see other post)

Unfortunately I need to make this decision pretty soon.
Any help appreciated

Have you considered teaching in China?

They do shorter termed contracts on a frequent basis.

Another point is do not take a crappy contract even if you do want to bail out in 6 months. 6 months of hell here in Korea is a lifetime anywhere else, and it will drive you up the wall.

Perchance you decide to consider China, I direct your attention to the gentlmen and gentleladies who inhabit the China forum. Perhaps they can provide better information than myself.

Please don't. The more people who do this, the more undeserved suspicion the rest of us get from our bosses, which leads us to be put through all kinds of unnecessary headaches.

If you do decide to do this anyway, just remember that if your boss ends up trying to screw you first, you have no claim to the moral high ground because, after all, you were trying to screw him.
