It has been a long time since I met a few of those jerks back there where I came from. I miss fools as silly as, oh, I dunno, perhaps mom, a brother or two, and maybe one or two other idiots.

Well, maybe I will see them again ere god or a bus driver decides my time is up.

Nothing a few phone calls wont cure Wink

Invite someone to come out and visit you...of course you need to be prepared for the dire consequences of them accepting Laughing

If you're over 30, such things as homesickness hardly exist. Especially if you've been away from home many times. I haven't been back home for 3 years.

I'm the same, and everytime I get the chance to go home, I seem to end up in places like Thailand and Amsterdam. Don't ask me why........it should be pretty obvious Laughing

Until someone back home dies. Then the guilt and self-questioning sets in.

HUH? Why would you self-question? If you had been home what could you have done to stop it? Very little. Unless it was a direct result of you living overseas there should be no guilt or self-questioning. And I just don't see how that is likely to be.

cures to missing your family

Write a letter...an actual honest to goodness handwritten letter.

Cook one of your familys famous recipes....if it doesnt turn out make believe your younger brother/sister made it Wink

Call them.

Get that 50x bushness scope for your rifle that should make sure you dont miss them anymore Twisted Evil

Best yet ....visit them...then you will quickly realise just why you live and work far far away from them Laughing

I think was is meant by guilt and self-questioning is two fold. Guilt, not in the fact that someone died but rather that you weren't closer to home to spend time with the person before they left us. Secondly, self-questioning as how to decide whose funeral you go to from half-way around the world.

Grotto

That is Bushnell, not Bushess.

Do make sure they mount your a free floating barrel on aluminum pilars, and of course have them rework it for a fiberglass stock and bedding. Also get a titanium firing pin for reduced lag time due to the lighter metal properties.

Ammuntion selection is of course important, but regardless do make sure you use one of the newer hollow point rounds being put out by remington firearms. They have a lovely line of ammo designed for swat teams that mount bullets which have maximum kill power.

Ok christ almighty just call your family.
