				| That was a f-ing terrible shower. I switched off after less than 5 mins. Just bloody americans talking about Satan and God...arrange the following into a well known sentence..."paint", "I'd rather", "dry", "watch". Painfully stupid people. | |

				| Five Eagles, I was tempted to switch it off, but I watched the whole thing. I'm a skeptic, not a debunker, so I honestly don't whether to say yes or no.

Here are a few miscellaneous comments:

Matthew 4:8-10 is a source of great amusement among unbelievers. No matter how high above sea level you go, you cannot see more than one hemisphere, because the world is round.

Besides, if there were a mountain where you could see all the kingdoms of the world, then one could see that mountain from all the kingdoms of the world. You would have seen that mountain back home, and you could see that mountain here in Korea.

Magician James Randi claims that every purportedly paranormal feat can be explained in terms of stage magic. He offers a million-dollar prize to the first person who can perform a paranormal feat under his controls. Last I heard, there have been many contenders, but no winner.

If there are so many people who claim paranormal power, I wonder why nobody has been able to claim that prize.

Again I allude to James Randi. In his book The Faith Healers, he tells us of sneaky ways by which charismatic evangelists find out who is in their audience. I wonder whether God told Benny Henn that there were three witches or whether someone else did.

Some people are born with an abnormally wide range of color vision. They may see ultraviolet light sources which they could confuse for auras. I wonder if Rebekah is such a person.

It is easy to establish an unfalsifiable hypothesis by saying that something is hidden. Why don't you see signs of Communist infiltration? Because it is hidden! Why aren't you conscious of all the neuroses which Freud says are bubbling around in your mind? Because they are unconscious!

Is it really possible to repel people psychokinetically, and to choose who you want to repel? I would like to try that. Then I could get rid of all the Koreans who come up and try to practice their English on me.

				| I do think that an evil, Satanic force exists in opposition to God-- whether he's a guy with horns and a pitchfork is doubtful, and I think such images play into the hands of people who want to mock the idea. The video is about as subtle as a chainsaw, but it was interesting to see.
Scripture doesn't always worry about geographical literalism; the fact that neither Christ nor Satan would literally see the entire world in Matt 4:8 doesn't seem important to me, and no one's ever brought it up before to me. They would either see the world figuratively, or in a non-physical way. Neither are limited to human restrictions anyway. Interestingly, the entire bible neatly skirts the issue of whether the world is flat or round.

				| It is difficult to be objective when we hear stories about secret organizations because they are so exciting.
By the way, Five Eagles, I hate to tell you this, but you have been followed around at all times by two men who run and hide every time you turn around and every time you look in the mirror. They watch every move you make and report regularly to their supervisor.

This organization has put not only your workplace and your living quarters under surveillance, they are attentively watching every person with whom you have been in contact.

Now if you will excuse me, I must sign off and---ouch! ug! argghh! gasp! choke!

				| Hey tomato,
I haven't forgot about your questions in the other thread, it just was getting to contentious so I have left it for awhile.

Thanks for the laugh on that last post, it was a good one.

C.S. Lewis writes that the greatest ploy Satan has is to make himself to be the guy with horns and a tail. Some silly superstition. Satan was once one of the most beautiful angels in all of Heaven. Eze 28. Though he has lost his power, he still has great authority.

I have had a few encounters with the demonic realm and you can read it here.

Remember Tomato, that both Jesus and Satan are spiritual beings. The spiritual realm is different than the physical realm. When you enter into the spiritual realm, it has greater precedent than the physical. Meaning that the spiritual laws govern the physical laws. For example, love is the greatest force in the universe.

God cannot be reduced to a magic show. It like saying, God give me the numbers for this lottery ticket so I can be rich. The whole idea of faith is to come into relationship with God. It is not meant to be manipulated or controlled. It is a way of separating those who love the truth and those who hate it.

Unfortunately, there are charlatons in every business, including religion. Though I don't know Benny Hinn, I have heard some amazing stories about him. To know the true from the false, look at the roots and the fruits. Where did they come from and what are they doing? Can you see love in their ministry. If you can see love, then it comes from God. Only God can produce love. Love is the trademark of all of his disciples.

				| What is it with these religious loonies! They really don't realise how funny they are. Funny and incredible cheesey. Some of these crazy types are worse than flat earthers.
I remember being approached by one of those nutjob Raelian types in Itaewon and I could do nothing but laugh at him. I also know vaguely know a guy who is one of those weirdo missionaries, he had a sad and mpty life and I guess being involved with a group of nutters using the 'love bomb' cult technique gave him a feeling of self worth.

I've met a few weirdos from the'Jesus army'and they are all completely manipulated by their cult leader, there lives are completely under his manipulative control and he makes a tidy profit offhis victims. He drives a roll royce car! whilst his victims actually work for him.

They especially target vulnerable groups such as the homeless and tempt them into the 'movement' with the promise of warm meals and a roof over their head, disgusting exploitation of a particularly vulnerable section of society.

Anyone who believes any of this occult conspiracy to conquer the world needs urgent psychological help.
