I am about to come to Korea for the second time. It's not concrete yet, but I was invited to apply for a job with DSME (Daewoo) and expect confirmation tomorrow. Thing is, I've been before and left just under three months ago. My employer gave me the run-around with my visa run. That is, he kept stalling it and short-changing my wages in the meantime. However, my paperwork had been processed and a number had been issued (apparently you simply turn up in Japan with a number from immi). If (when) I come back to Korea will I need to provide transcripts for a second time or will immigration still have my details on record.

Oh, hello to everyone on the forum.

Yes, you will require a sealed transcript.

I've been working here for a few years and had to provide one. I had to give them a sealed transcript and I was away for a mere 2 months.
