My name is Alyssa and I am from Princeton! I grew up in Princeton but did not go to school there. I went to school at Rutgers, anyone from the garden state? I majored in Elem. Ed and was also an English major. Just arrived in Daegu last week, missing home, but have had some very interesting experiences! I have one question, how do you get a photo on your image. Maybe I was kind of dumb to put my name for a user name, but oh well, I guess it is too late to change.

Hi Alyssa,

I think you are asking about avatars, and consequently you can find the answers to your questions here:

Hi Alyssa, and welcome to the adventure that is working in Korea!

Just one thing... if you find yourself on a rooftop in a couple of months, wondering if life is still worth living... realize that there are far, far better places in this world and you are still young enough to go and see them. Don't let Korea destroy you.

Basically, that's Joe 'Ladykiller' Doufu's version of a pick up line. Welcome to Korea.

Somebody else had the same question as you recently.

Go to this thread.

If all else fails, go to my most recent post, on page number two. There are some avatars there just waiting for you!

Don't let his negativity worry you Alyssa.. He's had a rough go and likes to paint the whole country with the same brush..

There's no reason why you shouldn't enjoy your Korean experience.. just be thankful you're not stuck working for chump-change in China!
