Come on now a girl has to make a living!

The upside about cold weather is they tend to huddle around their stoves and shiver rather than chase you down the street.

Book boy himself suggested to me on my first visit almost a year ago to get a cellphone and pretend I am talking to someone on it. That actually works quite well.

You might also try carrying a hatchet.

Mommy, why are those pretty ladies pulling Daddy by the arm into that doorway over there? They seem to be good friends of Daddy's. Are they selling books too?

What can you do? Some parts of Itaewon are just an obstacle course for guys, and that's one of them. I'll assume the OP knows it's out of Chiaa control. He could yell and scream at the girls every day, and it would not make any difference. I doubt even the police would be overly sympathetic.

Oh yeah people used to do that to me all the time when I was fundraising on the street for Save The Children. See a guy with a clipboard and a peppy red windbreaker, pull out the cell phone. I read an article somewhere that said studies showed a large percentage of the people talking on cell phones in public are faking it.

I have always been hoping that they would go out of business. But, you would be absolutely amazed how many guys they pull in on any given day. I estimate that there are any where from 10-20 guys getting blown right above my head on any given day. Try living with that little statistic.

The cell phone trick works like a charm.

Perhaps complain to the Yongsan Gu office and ask them why known houses of prostituion are 25 meters away from an elementary school.

I think when spring time comes around I am going to have to go with plan C. Video cameras outside which show live footage at whatthehooker.com
