nice photos but... they are iconic, based on relatively simple, clear ideas juxtapositioned
so... they have neither nor the detail nor the difficulty of expression to require a thousand words
(i was surprised to see that) not a single one of those photos require a 1000 words to describe
the website misses the point of the phrase: "a picture is worth a thousand words" |

And I think you've missed the point of the website- here's two words for you poindexter:
"Funny photos" |

Hullo? Did you browse around before writing that pithy statement? |

I'm game.
If those aren't worth 1000, then let's see the money shots. |

Sorry, but I don't see the 1,000 words either. Mundane is worth a 1,000 words? That's about 4 pages. You'd have to stretch with most of them, no?
Give it a shot: 1,000 profound words on those photos. |

Maybe I could agree if you two said 'this particular contest' rather than 'the website'.
But you didn't.
And the exact meaning of the expression "worth a thousand words" is open to interpretation.
I'll continue to enjoy worth1000.com despite what any nit-picking boneheads might have to say about the choice of name for the site or the quality of one particular contest. |

Love the zombie celebs on this one. Well, most of them. David Bowie is still hot undead. |
