So, I have finally arrived in Busan on Friday night. After spending the weekend alone, I figured I should try posting a message here and see if anyone wants to meet? I am teaching in a small hagwon, the only foreign teacher there, living by myself in Haeundae and looking to meet some nice folks. If anyone's interested in meeting for drinks or whatever, I would be up for it. Just send me a message my way. Oh, by the way... Loepold is the name of my cat...I am a girl (if that changes anything) .
Cheers! |

I'm 45 minutes directly south by ferry (terminal near Nampodong) on Geoje island, the second largest in Korea, full of great beaches.
Come on down some time in the spring. The azelea festival on a local mountain is nice then.
Welcome to Korea! |

I'm kind of on the other side of the city, so I don't get out in your neck of the woods all that often. If you really want to see or interact with foreigners, I recommend hoping on the subway towards Seo-myeon and get out at the Kyungsang/Bukyung Dae stop...lots of bars there. There's a bar near you(up Dal-ma-jee: Moon Hill) called "Starface" which isn't too bad...you might want to try this coming weekend if you're really going shack-wacky by that time.
Check at: http://pusanweb.com/nightlife/index.htm (there's a map you can easily print there, too - in Korean...good to show a taxi driver or a Korean co-worker - if you can read Korean, even better)
You might also want to try skating at BEXCO...but I'm not sure who you could go with...how are your Korean co-workers? If they're a little younger, they may be up for going out and doing something with you. |
