Just for curiosity's sake. Anyone know what an english speaker with no proficiency in Korean could do over here besides teach? Not much but I'd love to find out.

Considering this is Korea and that they speak mostly Korean here...the question from the OP seems strange.

You could do some TV English program (it is sort of teaching).

Perhaps find work with some corporation from a western country that is doing business here...then again they might also want someone who works in Korea to speak Korean.

Foreign service of your country of origin (Korean would still be a plus).

You could also play baseball, basketball or some other sport Laughing

Drive a tank. Fly a helicopter. Wash and wax a general's car. Something like that.

Male *beep*!

Prostitutes can make some good coin here. lol

If you have an F-2 VISA you can do pretty much whatever you want to do.

I was told there was three jobs I couldn't have.
1) Prostitute
2) Dancer (nude or otherwise)
3) bartender

I love the way they put #3 with #s 1 and 2.

When you are shaking your money maker, make sure those women are putting bills in the g-string. Those 500 won coins could damage. Very Happy

I did see one or two ads on www.pusanweb.com for curriculum and book writing. Office job from 9-6:30 for a big ESL chain.
