is your hometown rife with them? mine is. do they get on your nerves? me too.

are you or is someone you love suffering from "wigger"-itis?

from wikipedia:
Quote:
Wigger is a derogatory slang term used to describe a person, usually of European descent and with pale skin (often described as a "Caucasian" person), who dresses, speaks, or otherwise behaves in a manner that is stereotypically associated with African-American culture — for example, speaking in Ebonics. The term is a portmanteau word combining the words 'white' and 'n*gger', or 'wannabe' and 'n*gger', and is associated with cultural appropriation.

The condition is sometimes seen as evidence for a lack of identification with or interest in a person's own culture or simply as an interest in subcultures such as hiphop and 'street' which are typically associated with blacks.

The Offspring song 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)' is a famous song about "wigger" culture.

Doesn't using that word imply that you find black people offensive?

If white guys want to listen to rap music and imitate rappers why do you care?

Seriously, don't use that word.

Quoting wikipedia only makes you seem less credible.

uhh, why? if that's the term that's most widely used, then i'll use it. have you ever used the expression "rule of thumb"? if so, does that make you a woman-beater?

seriously, take the pickle (or whatever it is) out of your ass.

I hate the GI wiggers that I see in Itaewon and Hongdae sometimes. It's so funny to watch them try to do the ghetto strut that they've rehearsed in front of mirrors for countless hours. Some of the poor guys are trying so hard that they look like they're going to throw out a hip, sometimes.

i guess wigger (whigger?) is a racist term, but what else do you call them? I remember in middle school we called them white knights, but i haven't really heard that term since. anyways, they annoy the hell out of me too. it's good to be in korea where I don't have to deal with very many of them.

i really don't know what to make of the korean dudes that dress like black people. i mean, the average american whigger at least sees a few black people everyday. some of these guys here, i don't know if they've ever met a black person in their whole lives.

but then again, all this hiphop stuff is starting to consume and be consumed by the larger culture. I mean, rock n' roll was invented by black people, but nobody thinks about that anymore. and hiphop is basically just pop music with cursing nowadays.

maybe one day, i'll be able to wear my big ass 4 finger ring that says DOPE without getting laughed at.

Wigger, hiphopper, Korean wiggers (are they kiggers?), whatever. I couldn't care less.

What I really want to know is why these groups are unable to speak proper English.

Yo.

Yeah, just throw these wiggers in with the general prison population. We'll see who gets passed from cell to cell.

Where did they come from, was it spawned from the music (hip hop/rap), because if its this amazing 'cultural changing' music that turned white people into to trash talking-Rikki Lake wannabes then why weren't there Wiggers when the Blues was the music of the time, much better music if you ask me.

I agree with you, PS. I much prefer the term Wafrican Wamerican, as suggested by urbandictionary.com.

And as for the rule of thumb, using it only means you've been mercifully ignorant of a silly urban myth.

Don't click on the student bodies link in the menu at work.

But then... if you must...
