There is nothing wrong with an officetel. I lived in one my first year, and it was fairly nice. The thing to look at is whether or not the specific officetel that you are going to be in is okay for you or not. |

THere is no standard officetel. They differ.
My friend has one small room. Very modern and clean. Mine has a decent size room, and a sleeping/storage loft.
You have to see it. |

Advantage is if the place is used more for office than "tel" functions, you might not have neighbors at night. Hence, no noise, no sounds of a wife being beaten by her drunken husband at 2 am... |

My officetel now has a seperate bedroom, small but nice to have privacy. It's cleaner and newer with less bathroom drain smell than the apartment I had when I first arrived which seriously made me consider turning around leaving the same day! I have a friend who has the MOST amazing officetel! Huge windows, a loft that you can almost stand up in, a big kitchen, a little office room under the loft, nice bathroom with a full shower, and best of all it's right in the middle of everything he needs, shopping, entertainment etc. Some can be small, but most I have seen are great! |
