A panel of experts has convened to determine once an for all what is the greatest thing ever invented. The scores thus far:

NFL:9999999999999999999.8
wheel: 7
fire: 2
soccer: -12

Again, you can't argue with experts.

As an avid NFL fan (Niners...ouch... Confused ) I have to respectfully dispute your findings and say that Hockey is a far superior sport... Very Happy Laughing

But Football is SO much better than hockey in terms of betting, which bumps up it's appeal infinitely.

Betting on sports makes the NFL the best? Considering the fact betting on sports is a waste of money, I'd say the NFL ranks just as high as the ladies PGA tour in my books.

Coming from someone who obviously has never taken part in a fantasy football pool.

NFL is a pretty sweet arse organization.

Their economics seem to make a lot of sense. Very competitive.

Like baseball, I truly believe that those who claim it is boring simply don't understand the game. Just as I find those who think Rugby is boring don't underdstand the game.

Ive watched it since Ive been in Korea.I dont think Americans are stupid people so i know the game must have a catch in it somewhere. But Im still waiting for the 'hook'that draws me in.

To summarise the game as I see it thus far
.....Start,stop,stop,stop.....stop....advert...shot of the crowd....shot of some old pot bellied men in black and white stripe uniforms(where's their dignity?) ....shot of the players who arent playing with a coach somewhere there as well...shot of some guy who played for ten seconds and then was taken off(invariably drinking some kind of glucose drink to replenish his spent life force)....shot of an attractive lady in the crowd....and its back to the field for another 2 seconds of action.

American Football is without doubt the "Emperors Clothes" of sports.
