Are you an "exemplary taxpayer"?
Best Taxpayers to Get VIP Treatment at Airport
People who hold the Best Taxpayer Card don't have to wait in long lines for the immigration check prior to departures or entries.
... exemplary taxpayers -- individuals who paid more than 100 million in income taxes in 2004, CEOs of corporations that paid 1 billion won or more in corporate taxes in 2004 or those who earned accumulative tax payment mileage of more than 50,000 points in the past five years. To earn 50,000 points in tax payment mileage, one has to pay 1 billion won or more in taxes annually for five years.

You are retarded right?
Coming to ESL cafe and asking if anyone paid more than 100mil in tax is a joke.
Maybe some diehards might make 100mil, but to pay 100mil in tax you definately aren't teaching. |

RR is a retard, I believe. But he's not suggesting anyone here could get such status. This is just part of his never ending mania for demonstrating, via selected links, that Korea is a horrible place that underpays those most deserving (hagwon teachers with a BA in Basket Weaving) and overpays the undeserving (doctors, cab drivers).
That said, I gave the article a quick read yesterday between classes. Was it saying that the system already exists for citizens who pay a lot in taxes but they're trying to extend it to everyone who simply pays honestly and consistently? |
