When I first went to Korea in 2002, I sent my employer a certified copy of my degree then, she went to immigration, got the blue letter, sent it back to me, then me to korean consulate=visa. Is the procedure still the same? Do I have to send my orginal degree now? |

You can send your original degree or a copy that has been notarized by a Korean Consulate or Embassy. There is no blue letter. Instead, they send you a "visa issuance confirmation number." Other than this, it is the same. |

You also have to send sealed copies of your transcripts too.
When you come to Korea, when you apply for your ARC, you then will also have to fill out a degree verification form.
Welcome to the wonderful world of burocracy--wwweee~~~! |
