Hey Everyone!

Gimmie the dirt (both bad and good) on the Topia English Zone in Seoul.
It is located in the extreme north-east part of Seoul near the Sanggye Subway on Line #4.

Got a horror story? Got a great review? Lemmie know!

Thanks!

P.S. - I know Topia English Zone is a chain. If you are making comments about a TEZ schools in another location, please be sure to specify.

No news, I suppose, might be good news in this case.

I can't speak to the Sangye location - or, indeed, to any location for that matter - but a good friend of mine worked at the Gwacheon school for a year in 2003-2004 and never had any major complaints. He considered going back but ultimately decided to leave Seoul for the countryside.

I don't recall seeing Topia on any blacklists, but franchises are always a crapshoot. Have you gotten in touch with any teachers, past or present? That's usually the best indicator. Not always, but usually.
