1. The FOOD, especially Korean BBQ. Not including kimchi.
2. The mountains everywhere. I really should go hiking more.
3. Cheap, good stuff at markets like Dongdaemun and Namdaemun.
4. The low cost of living, and ease of saving money.
5. Faux hardwood floors. |

Please note that my list does not include kimchi, Korean girls, or the four distinct seasons. I think that should be noted. That is all. |

1. Cool language. I'm hopeless at it but it's fun.
2. Koreans generally from K-babes, middle school students to ajoshis. We should have a separate thread: 'Top 5 examples of K-hospitality and good nature'.
3. Seoul. A hip, vibrant metropolis with outstanding public transport.
4. Food. I still don't like the honey/pepper sauce (rather sickly) but apart from that it's awesome.
5. Relatively easy money. |

My guess would be "donkkas" ()... or "ton (of) cats". Whichever. Same-same.
Top 5 Things I LOVE about Korea
(the order changes)
1st (two-way tie, dead heat, too close to call): Miss Lee & Miss Park
3rd: Miss Cho
4th: A different Miss Park
5th: Miss Ko ... possibly Miss Choi
You said "love", didn't you? Oh, okay. Seriously this time (though in no particular order, and I'm not going to think too much about the answers)
1. It's kept me out of harm's way by... putting me in harm's way
2. The opportunities to get many useful things done without the usual time-wasting distractions
3. The work (and with it, the money, the satisfaction, the feeling that I'm needed)
4. Never a dull moment
5. The safety
There are more, but those five make a decent start. It would be a long list, I think. |

2) no last call
3) gateway to cool vacation spots
4) incredible standard of living due to a big amount of disposable income

You actually listed 100!? Quite an achievement... unless, as I guess there must be, long sections of food names, place names, etc. |
