I had a bad week... but feel so much better after a manicure and a well overdue pedicure. Even though I can't get the ladies to stop hurting me when they give me a massage. If I am wincing in pain then probably a good idea to stop.

woohoo open shoes are all go now.

Oh no, you have to embrass the pain. It's better in the long run. I got the pedi last weekend. I felt bad for the gal, with my dead dry skin flaking everywhere.

I went to the pink palace in COEX, btw.

How about a pedicurist in Daejeon?

I have never been able to find one.

This may sound insane but I am freaked out by pedicures... I've never had one because I'm paranoid about someone else touching my feet... haha.

yea I feel the same way, why on earth would anyone want to go around touching feet. I was on a bus once and there were a few American soldier types down the back, the kind that sound rather uneducated, simple almost, who kept talking about feet. The entire twenty minutes I was on the bus this one guy just went on and on about feet and foot fetishes, it was rather disgusting and not the kind of thing anyone needs to be listening to

hahaha!
It actally took me a year to let my boyfriend touch them. It's ok if he does now, but anyone else, BACK OFF.

Feet are just really gross. I've also been a dancer since the age of 3, so my poor feet have taken a beating (pointe shoes and all that kinda stuff).
Just.. ick.
Feet are walked on all day and .. I can't speak of this anymore I'm getting grossed out lol

I dont agree. I think feet can be very sexy. They are an importat extension of legs and ugly feet ruin the whole look of a sexy leg. A woman can have the hottest legs but if she wears sandals she better have nice looking feet. As far as feet not being sexy because you walk on them...butts and vaginas have certain other uses as well.

I go to Pro-Nails which is right by Itaewon station. They do an excellent job. In fact, I'm trying to figure out if I have time to go for a quick pedi before I fly out in 2 weeks (doubt I'll be able to squeeze it in though. Sad )

No I love it and the beautiful pink color my toe nails are at the moment. I feel so good after a pedicure. I have great legs so I do like to make sure what is on the end of them look just as hot.

I'd like to state for the record that I take care of my feet, paint my toe nails, etc!

I just HATE feet. I hate my feet, I hate your feet. Hate is a strong word, and I hatehatehate feet.

I think I will have to give up manicures (I only get them once in a blue moon, which is when my cuticles are grown halfway up my nail). Everytime I get a manicure, I get hang nails like crazy- on every single finger! Then they look worse than they did before the manicure!! Cuticle oil doesn't help, either. Neither does religiously moisturizing my hands. I'm not paying for a paraffin treatment, either.

I hate having my cuticles pushed back. It literally makes my toes curl, which can be tough on the technician!! OMG- has anyone ever noticed (besides me) how often the technician touches their face or runs their hands through their hair while they are working? Apparently they must be over the initial gross-out factor. I swear, if I had to do that job, I'd be wearing a mask and latex gloves...
