I work in a pubic middle school in Seoul, and this is my first contract. I realize this question can't be answered really, but I'll ask regardless.

What is the usual schedule for summer vacation? I have heard that school usually finishes around the third week of July and that there are summer camps afterwards. But I have heard two things: the summer camps are held immediately after school finishes or that the camp begin a few weeks later because everyone in Korea goes on a summer vacation the last week of July/first week of August.

Which scenario is more likely?

Thanks

In three middle or high school positions I've had in Gyonngi-do all my
summer and winter vacations started after the camps were immediately
held for 2 to 4 weeks. Meanwhile, one can check with his school, but even
then things usually aren't definite until the last minute. Cool
