Are air courier services/fares worthwhile? Ever work with them? |

I've done it and so have a couple of friends of mine. I was able to fly from San Francisco to Singapore, on Japan Airlines via Tokyo Narita, for like $400 US, scheduling only about a month out. Normal fares on that route at the time started around $650. Cheaper flights to other destinations were possible -- one friend went from SF to Tel Aviv for almost nothing -- but I was focused on SE Asia. Check out www.courier.org for more info. I used to be a member, while I lived in the States, and I think it was definitely worth it. |
