This year, July the 7th will be the first anniversary of the terrorist atrocities in London, when four British born, Pakistani muslims, carried out the worst terrorist attack on British soil. Just like the men who murdered in New York, Madrid, Beslan and Bali, they were inspired by certain Koranic verses and the example of Mohammed as recorded in countless Hadith.
Now, Ken Livingstone, in his infinite dhimmi wisdom has decided that this infamous day should be one where British people learn more about the wonders of Islam. Because that's the problem isn't it? Not young muslims blowing themselves up to become matyrs. No, the real problem is that infidels just don't understand this peaceful, benevolent religion. Isn't the real problem that some young muslim men misunderstand (or understand too well) their religion? Aren't these the ones we should be targeting so that such atrocities are not repeated? Not according to Red Ken, who once again demonstrates that his dhimmitude, self loathing and White guilt know no bounds.
In a quite disgusting move, he has also invited the survivors of those butchered by these Islamic fanatics to attend the day's festivities. Real tasteful Ken!

Europe's biggest exhibition of modern-day Islam will take place in London a year after the 7 July bombings in an effort to depict the religion in a positive light.
That sure will take a hell of a lot of effort. Just make sure you don't include anything about Sharia or violent Jihad. Jihad is simply a peaceful 'inner spiritual struggle'. Also, don't make any mention of the ongoing Islamic slave trade, or how Islam was spread by the sword.
The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, is set to launch the event which hopes to "combat the myths, misconceptions and misunderstandings of Islam". IslamExpo will consist of a series of exhibitions on Islam's cultural heritage, lectures, debates, films, stand-up comedy and workshops at Alexandra Palace. Organisers plan to invite survivors of the Tube attacks to attend with a special commemoration on the day.
I can just imagine the mayor of London in 1940 inviting relatives of Blitz victims to an exhibition on German culture, featuring Lederhosen and oompah bands. How times have changed!
It is hoped that the event will help to improve relations between Britain's 1.8 million Muslims and the wider community.
Relations would be improved to a much greater extent if certain members of the Islamic community stopped blowing themselves up, or attempting to blow themselves up, ceased calling for the implementation of Shariah and stopped making excuses for Islamic terrorism. |

One of the sponsors of the event is the Muslim Association of Britain, who will no doubt be doing there best to promote 'dialogue' and 'understanding'. You would not know from their depiction in the media and their regular appearance at No.10 for tea and scones, but the MAB is a Sharia supporting offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and they are also big fans of that well known advocate for peace, Sayd Qutb.

The MAB was founded in 1997 by Kamal el-Helbawy, then the London-based spokesman in Europe for the Muslim Brotherhood, a pro-terrorism group that has been largely responsible for the rise of militant Islam in recent decades, and claims to have taken part in most pro-Islamic conflicts including Afghanistan and Kashmir. The brotherhoods objective is: Mastering the World with Islam, and its motto concludes: Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Anas al-Tikriti, a past president of the MAB, is the son of Osama al-Tikriti, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Iraq.
It has branches in 70 countries, often under different names. In Palestine it is Hamas, which pioneered the use of suicide bombers, and whose aim is to destroy Israel. Hamas is banned as a terrorist organisation in both the UK and the US, but Dr Tamimi has said he not only supports it, but has also advised it on its public relations strategy.
The MAB was more than just founded by the Muslim Brotherhoods European spokesman, according to the Labour MP Louise Ellman, who told Parliament last year: The Muslim Association of Britain itself is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Ahmed Sheikh, MABs president, says they are not ashamed to admit that they share some of the teachings of the Muslim Brotherhood, but insists: We have no link with any international organisation outside this country.
It was the MAB that invited the controversial cleric Dr Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhoods spiritual leader, to London last month. Dr al-Qaradawi is editor-in-chief of Islamonline.net, which insists that it is the duty of Muslims to achieve supremacy on earth and put their enemies to rout and the means for doing so is taking up arms in addition to preparation, financing and planning strategies.
With such people attending a supposedly mainstream muslim event, it is no wonder that people develop a negative view on Islam. |
