I was told at my bank that when i send money home, I am required to provide some kinda "proof of payment from employer" paper. Has anyone heard of this?
I sent money home at the beginning of january no problem. THEN, two weeks later, "blam" i need this paper thing. The guy at the bank said that "law change" but...
i hadn't heard anything.
Does anyone know if this is right? Could it be particular to my bank?
Luckily, i won't be sending money home for a couple months again.. |

did it today, no problems.
there could be some confusion if a new person handles your transaction. I usually deal with the same at the KB bank i go to. |

I don't know anything about a law change, but I had to show a pay stub type thing to send money in my first year here. I think the only time you don't is if you have your pay directly deposited. |
