I like blogs. You like blogs. Admit it. But some blogs are boring. They are a regurgitation of the Korea Herald everyday and have no good pictures. Who needs that? Why go to a blog for political crap? The best blogs, IMHO, are the ones that have good photos, are up to date, have good writing and are interesting and pay attention to the small details of every day life wherever you might happen to exist. As a current expatriated english teacher from korea sometimes i get nostalgic and that's where blogs come in. yes, i have a life, if you can call it that but, damn it jim, i miss seoul from time to time. blogs are a good way to catch up on the scene.

i guess what i'm trying to say is, thanks for the good blogs. why are there so many bad ones? it's not rocket science. is it?

is it?

what makes a good blog? are blogs useful or necessary? are we better off writing a novel or should we just post our everyday lives up on the net?

note to self: no more soju.

I just hate the word "blog." It sounds like something you'd say while bending over a toilet at 4am somewhere in Sinchon.

I'm starting a new blog. It'll be called "What I Think About That Album" and it will nothing but solid, wall-to-wall nonstop CD reviews! I will be

1. Listing CDs that I own(!)
2. Stating my opinions about them(!!!)

Plus, a huge bonus: Sports Opinions!
You get to hear about athletes that I like and dislike!!

I know, you probably don't think I'll be able to keep it up. But trust me, baby, I got loads of material and it's all SOLID GOLD! I'd put the blog up now and blow away all the other blogs, but I don't have a server big enough to handle what will surely be a huge demand from album-review fiends everywhere. If I put it up now, it'd probably crash the whole fu*king internet!
