Any recommendations for a good priced moving company in Seoul? I have contacted Brandon Moving, which advertises on many sites. Anybody used them before? Or know another company that is better?

I contacted Brandon moving for a little job. It was a single bed and wardrobe to go less than an hour. Pickup had an elevator and the dropoff was on the 3rd floor no elevator. I offered to help with the move. He quoted 90,000 won. I think thats a bit high.

I have two that were recommended to me, but only used one personally...

원,투룸이사(one, two room moving) 02-309-1424
투가이즈이사(two guys moving) 02-1644-5824

I used the 2nd listed, two guys. for 60K for 1 guy with a truck who i helped get the job done. The First one quoted me at 80K. I moved about 10 miles from a 7th floor with an elevator to a 15th with an elevator. Bed, two tables, desk, couch, entertainment center, dresser and several boxes. Elevators are important for the quotes. Anyway, my Korean is elementary to proficient, but it was only really important when we drove to my new place for conversation. I had a Korean friend call and get a quote/make the reservation. Two guys offered a second man for 100K total. So it depends on if you want to help or not. If you do, you save $, but don't feel you need to speak Korean. Two guys moving heavy $hit usually just grunt and nod anyways. Just have your address to your new place ready and you should be good to go. He was a great guy, and of course, he did the majority of the work.

Brandon quoted me at 120K for himself, double what I ended up paying. Only cuz he can speak English... don't think its worth it personally

Thanks, I imagined that Brandon had a higher rate because of his English abilities. I will give the other companies calls today.
