Pronounce this phrase:  Դ

It's meaning is dead simple: "to wear clothes."  and Դ go together like hand and glove. I've probably used some combination of them together a 1000 times. And apparently i've been doing wrong Ѥ;

I'm guessing just "oSHIbta" (ʴ), with the final-initial sound blending and all? Or "oat ibta"? Bloody hell... Confused

I dunno, normally I'd just throw the object particle () in after the to make it easier for myself, though I know that's not always done.

So how IS it pronounced, anyways? I was wrong, wasn't I?

Yes, I would've guessed it's a soft 'd' sound like in ؿ ("can't do").

For those of you who don't know, if there are any, ѱ߸ؿ, han goo mal jal moh de yoh, means "Korean speak well, can't do"). One of those "gets you everywhere" and "find yourself saying it all the time" phrases....

Close, but that's pronounced ¿ because the h in the next syllable changes it from a d to a t.
ѱø  ¿

I like this site for an "interactive" approach to learning Korean vocabulary, as well as Hangul typing skills (don't cut and paste!!)

I like it when she starts to get bored and leans against the bar.

I've got another site saying something else.

It's possible it could be like being pronounced ɿ even though it should be , but saying it the latter way doesn't get through to people. All I've heard for Դ up to now has been . I remember someone tellling me to Ծ once and I thought she was saying ?
