Hello everyone i am just wandering has anyone worked for this company who was fired or left because of the owner was asking to much of them .
The reason why I am asking is because I started work there on the 19th December 2005 (as I hold an F-2-1 visa) , the first week I was with another teacher , the second week I was promised off , when i confronted the directer he denied it ok . number 2 week I was with the same teacher until Thursday and Friday when she was off , number 3 rd week , Monday I called in sick as i had the runs Tuesday they gave me the baby class to teach 4 year olds , Wednesday I was given the baby class again , but before class started I seen another foriengn teacher in the directors office , 10 minutes into me teaching the directer comes up and pulls me out of class , and we are in his office talking he asked what the problem was and I told him to teach all the advanced children , secondly he gives me the Degree Confirmation letter from immigration by this time it was Jan 2006 , I said to him my degree has already been confirmed by immigration why does he need the information , no answer .
On the way home i call him and asked if i was fired he said yes , so i asked about my pay , he said he will pay me when he confirms the Degree ok , I came home started to get the information i rang immigration i told them my situation , they couldnt do anything for me ok.
Before I was fiored or what ever 2 children came down with the chicken pox , it takes 2 weeks to go into adults immune system so I now have the chicken pox out of work for another 2 weeks .
My point is you are some of those teachers could you please tell me what happened , because he threatened lawyers and all I have lodged my complaint with the labor board already cheers
