Is the income tax rate 5%? Or lower? Wondering for paycheck deduction purposes.

LOWER

But it seems that most hagwon owners like to deduct that much and not bother paying any tax anyway.

Go to FAQ look under tax rate.

There is no set %, Its on a sliding scale depending on what you earn. It can be as little as 1.6% for a salary of 2 mil.

Visit the NTS tax site and check your monthly withholding tax.....dont let them take off a won more than what it says!
