I think I remember (but not sure) where were were talking about a site that just discussed food. Where to buy items, and how to cook home-style things with out the right ingredients. (including no stoves)
I think we need one.
I can usually make due with what I have, but now I really am having a hard time in finding oatmeal. Just the plain kind. Costco does not have it. At least it was no there the last few times i looked. I go once a month to buy meat. It is not easy to get there from here, but it is worth tjhe trip.
The "red door: didn't have it. I am surprised that e-mart" does not have it. I can go to n, and that was good, but not the same So many food items can be gotten here now.
do not have a friend on the base, so that is out. And oatmeal is something heavy for some one to bring back or mail.
I live in Bundang. Any one knows? Thanks |

I think they carry oatmeal at the Hannam Supermarket (or the small grocery place to the left as you enter) but I'm not sure - and if Costco doesn't have it - probably not... I'm pretty sure that SM Ching Hai vegetarian restaurant has a multi-grain hot cereal though (02-576-9637) Yanjiae station (342) exit 5, short bus ride from bus in front of Nike store... |

For awhile there I thot we were going to being quoting food or there were going to be interesting quotes related to food.
And, then I thot perhaps this thread might be dedicated to illegality in the food industry - perhaps places to avoid and/or some food horror stories.
A little disappointed. |

Don't know about the Costco in Seoul, but the one in Daejon has oatmeal, both instant and the "rolled oats" kind. |
