I thought these two institutions might send shivers down some spines and entice you into reading this!
I've been job searching for about a week now, but still haven't found anything that totally matches what I'm looking for. I have been thorough though, and have contacted around 30 recruiters/schools so theres a steady stream coming in at least!
I've heard so much negativity about the WONDERLAND and LITTLE CAMPUS chains, but I also realise that it also comes down to the individual schools and directors. So has anyone worked, or known someone who worked in Wonderland, CHEONGJU, or Little Campus (near Busan National University)??
Also, what exactly is ETIK?
Hope some of you can help! It's getting to the stage I'm tempted just to pick one and GO! But I'm not stupid!
Cheers, Chris |

Wonderland and Little Campus...
Big school chains. Some are horrible, some are decent places to work. It is case by case..i.e. you will have to do your homework.
Wonderland gets a bad rep on here because some of their schools have been bad places to work.
ETIK: seems to be a recruiting agency piggybacking onto the EPIK (gov. program) name to attract teachers. Never heard of them before. |

Wonderland as an organisation doesn't deserve to get any decent teachers because of what they've let so many of their franchises get away with. Stay clear of them unless you just want to come around for a short while and screw them over and leave. |

Being part of a franchise means very little as each is individually owned. There have been hundreds of teachers through Wonderland. Some workers had a great, secure time. Others, like those naive two made an anti website, Prisoner of Wonderland. I looked at the picture of the girl, morose sitting in an apartment living room, a new apartment, complaining about the quality of housing. Was it not that her boss didn't get her a TV or something so she complained about that through the website?
Good grief.
There are Wonderlands I personally have some experience with and wouldn't go near them. Another, just one, I think is fantastic. |
