| Long story short, my visa and ARC card are at immigration being processed for a new visa. I have photo copies of each of them. Would it be possible to go to Busan and take the ferry to Fukuoka if I show the photocopies and all my other forms of ID? I don't think it is, but I figured I would ask. |

No. Photocopies of passports are not good for travel.
By the way, why would you want to? Don't you need them to finish processing your visa before you can go to Japan? I'm assuming you need to go there to pick up your visa, and the fact that your passport and ARC are still at immigration means they have not finished processing it yet. Even if you could magically get to Japan without a passport, what will you do when you get to the Korean consulate there? They need your passport to put your visa into.
And not turning in your ARC when you leave will get you fined 100,000 W. Photocopies are not acceptable. |

| Oh, I see. In that case, it sounds like bad timing, but I'm afraid you are stuck in Korea until you get your passport back. |
