Appreciate there have been plenty of posts and threads about EPIK, good and bad, over time so I don't want to open a new thread on that general line.
However, I am looking for specific feedback on EPIK in Gwangju. I am trying to get on the programme this summer in the city. I did it a few years ago out in the sticks, loved it, but am curious to know what urban EPIK is like from those actually doing it at the moment.

I would also like some information about the EPiK program in Gwangju. Can anyone provide some information? |

I think there is one recruiter affiliated with Jeollanamdo, Canadian Connections, and it seems to me that the salaries listed always seem slightly lower than the regular national program. (Like, capped at 2.0 a month when the national standard is 2.2 or 2.3 in rural areas.) However, I'm not totally sure about the salary details, and I'm also not sure if Canadian Connections hires for Gwangju city as well as the rest of the province.
Good luck. |
