Is there any other kind of rice available in Korea other than the standard "glutinous", sticky white sh!te rice? Should I bring 5 kilos of brown rice with me?

You could try (hyuhn-mee) = dictionary says "uncleaned rice; brown rice". I think it's pretty good, but most of your students would say it's terrible as they prefer that sticky, mushy stuff.

we got brown rice at costco. it's not as nice and soft as the white stuff, but a lot healthier. usually we mix, half white rice, half brown.

Kim's Club near express bus terminal has some in the rice aisle. Beware of the barley, though.
