|
|
I just moved to Gangnam Station about a week ago. I have been in Korea for over a year now, so I'm somewhat familiar with the area.
I know that there are the major stores around Gangnam Station, like Wal-Mart, Costco, E-Mart, and Kim's Club, but those are all at least two subway stops then a short walk away. I also know that there are millions of convenient stores, like Buy the Way, 7-11, and LG25 everywhere.
However, I'm looking for an actual small supermarket or gocery store within walking distance of my apartment. I know they have to exist, but I can't find one for the life of me. I'm just looking for a small mom and pop place that sells milk, yogurt, cereal, fruit, vegetables, etc...not prepackaged sandwiches and gimbap.
Here is a link to the kind of store I'm talking about:

Read the descriptions of "Supermarkets" and "Neighborhood Stores." That's what I'm looking for. You can find them on every corner in every other part of Seoul, but for some reason, not near Gangnam Station.
I live right out of exit #1 at Gangnam Station. Please! If anyone has any information about easy grocery shopping in the area, let me know! |
