And I'll tell you something, newbie. You've probably got it good there in Korea, too good. Fact is, you know the reality of life back in the West. All the time there's this contrast of existence rubbing off on you, wearing you, trying to juxtapose these two differences. Then you find out that what's actually 'living good' in Korea is a delusion.
What'll floor you though, is how many in Korea have fallen for this delusion. Many even add their hubris to this icing on the cake. They're 'really' there because they're 'real' teachers. Some pretend they've got purpose coming to Korea, pre-planned their journey. Others think they're above you, perhaps because they're working at a university, rolling in the dough. Nothing could be further from their classrooms.
Don't let them fool you, newbie. They've got it good because they don't know reality, or don't want to face it.
It depends on you then, or if you want to be like these that are deceived or deceiving.
The criteria is lacking, newbie. There's nothing to judge a teacher by over here. You then get fattened up while here, like a pig waiting to be slaughtered, by going to the self-inflicted slaughterhouse of annihilation of self. It's plain to see who's leading you: either it's the Koreans, pride, or deception.
That said, are you going along with it? Buying it? Rolling in the filth of greed like these here?
Think about it, newbie. Reality is awaiting you, and them, back in grade school, in those tree diagrams they've forgotten meant anything at all, but a free airplane ticket to Korea and an avatar. |

Huh?
Get real! (yourself)
If one doesn't want to change anything about oneself then one shouldn't leave one's previous environment. Living in a different country affects one in a myriad of ways, some for the better, some for the worse, depending on one's character, constitution, attitude, experiences and the like.
Annihilation of self? You sound like a tea tottler turned alcoholic, happenin' insider turned malcontent outsider.
Get a grip! Just because you're not enjoying Korea and Koreans doesn't mean everyone who does is delusional. Quite the opposite. |

Such an earnest young man.
I guess he walks around in a corduroy blazer with a Czechslovakian novel peeping out of the pocket......just enough for people to see. |

OK, I've got now. You hate yourself. And frankly I don't blame you. I suggest serious professional psychiatric help is your only option now. Otherwise they'll be peeling you off the pavement and looking up at your 5th story window in a few months. |

Jesus...this is getting more and more ridiculous.
Plus the interval between his piles of crap posts are getting longer which seems to indicate he is working harder on writing them.
This my friends is sad because they are getting worse by the post....
But..keep going Nelligan...and...as Satori said you will probably end up as pavement jam one day. Hey, maybe your miss-understood work will take post humously! |

May I use this thread for my own propaganda then?
Get the word out to everyone! Old Major is calling a meeting of all the animals of Manor Farm, last night he had a dream about the end of the human parasites & animals are free to live in peace and harmony again!!

Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland,
Beasts of every land and clime,
Hearken to my joyful tidings
Of the golden future time.
Soon or late the day is coming,
Tyrant Man shall be o'erthrown,
And the fruitful fields of England
Shall be trod by beasts alone.
Rings shall vanish from our noses,
And the harness from our back,
Bit and spur shall rust forever,
Cruel whips no more shall crack. |
