what do you have to do to legally own/operate a car here in happy land?
Insurance registartion and the like? Where does one register the car?

| I bought a new Sportage last year and the dealership did all the registration stuff. When I moved, I went to city hall (Bucheon) to register my change of address. I'm assuming in buying a used car that would also be the place to go. As for insurance, I went with our health care provider. It is pricey but definitely worth it. Communication was all made easier with a Korean wife, but everything is in my name. A Korean license is necessary though. |
