Hello all. This is my first post here.
I'm a 24, soon 25 year old male from the US with a BA in Music and a Master's in Education. I want to work in Seoul. Two schools have already accepted me, but I turned them down when a friend in Seoul gave me a lead on a music teaching position. However, I haven't heard anything back from the school and am beginning to think that I won't ever. Music is my subject and I imagine I'd be much happier teaching that than English. Can anyone help me out? Any leads or advice on how to find a job teaching music in Seoul? Much thanks in advance. .Nick.

There are a bunch of music hogwans here, they seem to have that covered. My buddy is a real musician and he didn't seem to make that work for him.

Your ace in the hole is the M degree. That will get you into a uni English dept. Whilst there, you can can show everyone that you are a musician and therefore young women will fall upon you because you are a musician and I think you might be tired of that by now.

Find a listing of all the international schools in Korea. They might be hiring. If you're American, you might also want to look for a position in one of the schools for children of American soldiers.
