Hey all, my contract with the Public School is ending at the end of the month (6month contract) and thus my visa is also being canceled at the end of the month. The visa was for a year, which I never really understood, but whatever.
I am not going to be in the ROK much longer, so I wanted to go out and come back as a tourist for 4 months. Then back to the homeland. If they just cancel my visa, am I gonna be blacklisted, if they dont do some sort of special paperwork?
any experience with something like this?

It sounds like you have no problem. Make sure you know the exit date
and then leave by then. There should be nothing unusual going on. |

Who will be cancelling your visa?
If your school is doing it, then they are following proper procudure, then you don't have anything to worry about. just go out and come back as a tourist. As a Canadian (I think you are Canadian?), you are entitled to 6 months on a tourist visa? or is it three? I am not sure which.
Anyway, I don't understand why you think you are going to get blacklisted? |
