I'm coming from Canada, so I'm used to being involved (as a volunteer) with small, non-profit arts centres (or artist-run centres). I realize this is sort of a tiny niche in a huge sea of ESL folks with different interests, but I'm hopeful someone here can give me some clues about what kinds of contemporary art goes on over there. I'm finding it difficult to find information on line, except for stuff about Nam June Paik, of course.

Anyone see any good exhibitions lately?
Any organizations, resources, supply stores?
Art colleges?

Im more into the photography side of it but Ive recently started to network in the art community here and looking forward to meeting more people. There are a lot of good exhibitions around Seoul, pick up a copy of Seoul Art Guide.
