I'm currently in the process of looking for some part-time work to help with the old cash flow thing. I got a phone call this morning from one agent, and when I mentioned that I wanted to make sure it goes through immigration and is all on the up and up, she didn't quite get it. This means, of course, that I have to figure out what I need to gather up to submit to immigration.

Well? What do I need? I have verbal permission from my current job to take on extra work. What else do I need to get/submit/pee on to have a second job legally approved?

It depends on what kind of visa you have and what kind of work you are trying to take on. I believe you cannot get a second job with an E-2, but can with an E-1 or others. Also, certain jobs (like entertainment jobs, for example) require certain types of visas.

you can get an additional job with an e2 visa; i did it. you must be working fewer hours and making less money at your second job. get a letter from your school saying that it's ok it you work at the new hagwon and take to it immigration, along with your contract from the new place.

it costs 60,000 won.
