|
|
I bought a brand new Nokia 6102 flip-phone here in the US about 4 weeks ago. I knew I was thinking of coming to Korea soon, so I am on a pre-paid plan. The phone cost me just under $200. Lo and behold, I got a job last week, and I'll be starting my new job in Korea on March 1st.
Supposedly it will work in Korea. However, it doesn't have any Korean menus or Korean on the keys, which will hinder my ability to send text messages in Korean, so, I am tihnking of just buying a new phone once I get to Korea.
The question is: Think I'll be able to sell it in Korea? My other option is to put it up on Ebay before I leave. |

Selling here? Not going to happen. I mostly text in English myself but I do use Korean once in a blue moon. I would ebay it if I were you. |

isn't that phone a GSM phone for cingular and tmobile?
no GSM in korea. only CDMA...verizon has a roaming agreement with SK Telecom....but i suggest you just ebay it and purchase a phone in korea (it will also be much nicer than a nokia). |
