Farewell, friends, I'm going to China in less than two weeks.
I've got a great new job at a university in Beijing... you should be sure to visit me when you get a chance.

Would anybody be up for a farewell dinner or drink in Itaewon next Saturday, the 11th?

I don't know Itaewon pubs very well - honestly I don't go out and drink much. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the Three Alleys when I last visited. Of course if there's somewhere with a live band that night I'd prefer to check that out.

Dude Joe I got a sweet plan! We can have a going away party for you Korean style!

We can get really wasted at work leer and grope underage girls and chase each other down the street like a bunch of retards. Then when we are just getting warmed up we can get a whole group of people to go to a noraebang and get try to warble out songs from the Rhinestone Cowboy sound track between soju shots.

Since you are leaving we will then take you up to Hooker hill and get you a good time short time with one of the locals so you can take a dose of the clap with you to China!!!!

It will be so MUCH FUN!!!

Or we can just do three alleys that is a nice bar.

Hey Joe,

I will be in Seoul this weekend....last chance to go to church.

You wanna come?

Regardless, I pray God's love over your life. I hope you never stop seeking truth.

God bless,
A

Forget the soju and the hooker... but I could possibly be convinced to go along to a noraebang if the right crowd was into it.

and dude Kermo's church is boring enough to melt steel. I went 1 time and fell asleep in the backrow while be tortured by some ranting sermon from some spasmic dweeb of a preacher who should have been beaten up with a baseball bat.

Even worst I walked right out the front door and got hit by a damn car. My knees were messed up for the rest of the week, and I have since then converted to the Holy church of Elvis to bring the good news of rock and roll and bacon sandwiches to the masses.

I'm sure that you'll fare well there, Joe - sounds like you you've landed a good big city uni job... Good luck surfing the net in China, though - hopefully you'll still contribute to these forums when you get the chance.
