So... I bought a keyboard here so it would have Hangul characters, now how do I type using those characters? I'm running Office XP, I downloaded the Korean IDM, or whatever its called, from Microsoft. I thought I could just change the langauge setting in Word, but that's not working. I searched this topic, but couldn't find anything... sorry if this has already been covered. |

For Windows XP users: You will need to verify you have support for East Asian Languages and Complex Script enabled. Go to the Control Panel, choose Regional and Language Options and go to the Languages tab. Make sure both checkmarks are enabled.
Then to enable korean support, click Details, Add. And select Korean, choose the Korean Input System, Korean will then be added to your language bar, select it there and use your altgr or right alt key to enable/disable the korean IME. Now you can type hangul... |
