There's a YBM ELS just down the street from my present school and I no longer think I want to renew my present contract even if they offer... I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with YBM ELSes in general... and if anyone has any specific stories about the ELS in Seomyeon Busan?
Has anyone here been hired domestically for a YBM ELS position? I have heard they are somewhat professional being a primarily (?) adult only school... currently I teach adults one to one and work 8 hours at a crack... today my schedule is 4.5 hours then a half hour break, followed by 3 more hours... it's not unusual to do 6, followed by a half-hour break and then the remaining 1.5, so I will be OK with working like a dog... I am acclimated to that situation already...
So far my inquiry is pretty nebulous, I'm not even sure what to ask so if you have any ideas please post them.
I have 5 months remaining on my present contract and would like to get a good job lined up as soon as possible just to be on the safe side. I'm comfortable in my neighborhood and if I get something lined up soon enough maybe I will be able to keep my present apartment (knock on wood). |
