anybody know if its possible to ride a bike on the coastal roads of geoje without getting run over by the usual swarm of korean traffic?

what about the roads themselves, rough, smooth....would I need a mountain bike?

Hi, man,

I've been to Goje three times. All by motorbike. I like it there and am thinking about going there for a break between contracts, so it's on my mind.

Goje isn't busy like the rest of Korea. The hills, small mountains are forested and, with the sea, the air is very fresh. The coastal road winds and isn't crazy busy. However, it curves and there would be some reckless driving so beware. I'm not big on cycling myself. And trusting drivers not to hit me.

Summer Goje is more busy with vacationers. I don't know if VanIslander is still around but you could pm him about it.

Enjoy your trip! It's a really good idea.
