i had a sided gig at an elementary school which finished last week, and since we finished our book, i needed something fun to do for the second to last day of class. i taught the kids about pangrams (sentences which use all of the letters in the alphabet) and asked them to get in groups and make one. out of four groups, three succeeded. i was impressed with what they came up with, so i'll share:

1. We will cook plenty of bulgogi with jam for our queen and violinist on X-mas in New Zealand.

2. There were one hundred fat, stupid, and ugly elephants playing with crazy students and movie extras because they are making a movie named "Queen of the Jungle."

3. I don't have a certificate of secondary education, and my Korean neighbor Jupiter will solve the quiz with her ex-boyfriend.

i'll miss that class.

That's pretty good - I doubt my HS students would be able to do that. I think I'll give it a try, though.
