Are they good for your health?

I always used to get them on Kofta kebabs back home. Burn your mouth out with these bstds (plus hot chilli sauce and spicy beef) and then drink 5 more pints of proper lager, Stella! Food this spicy would hospitalize a Korean, I'm telling you! Back home the chillis are longer, but they taste the same as these.

I've been searching for some habanero (or scotch bonnet) peppers here to make some salsa for my K friends who think that Korean food is the hottest on Earth. Knowing them, they would risk an ulcer to shove as much as they could down to prove how not so hot it is.

I have a bag of the 'mouse-shiet'-chilis from Thailand, and I'm looking forward to letting them loose on those Koreans who insist that their food is spicy. Next barbecue, oh, that'll be some kind of wake-up call.

I used to work as a chef in the caribbean, under a Jamaican head chef, and that shit will scar you for life you're not careful!

The one and only time I found something too spicy for my wife to eat was at a Jamaican roti restaurant, it was a day for the history books (IMO).

Good move.

I'm thinking of cooking a good spicy chicken and cauliflower curry for my co-teachers. Or maybe a chilli con carne that's just pure evil.

"not hot?" Laughing

Try adding a little of this to the ġ

Blairs 16 Million Reserve. It's pure Capsaicin, registering over 16 million Scoville units, at $250 a bottle. You have to wear protective gloves and eyewear to handle the stuff.

Looks like somebody has been moonlighting:

In the true spirit of gourmet fusion cuisine, I think this place should be re-named
"DAVE'S INSANITY CAFE"

We'll need a new logo...
