Hey chickies,
im on my way to Korea soon and can someone PLEASE fill me in on the talent in Korea? Not sure if im open to the thought of being with a korean boy just yet...
... but lets just say im not keen to stay single or at the least, get no action while im over there. Im not a skank...but come on..everybody enjoys some lovin at some point!
Ive heard there are loads of army boys...but im sure they'll do my head in within time so hopefully there will be some hottie teachers to get to know!
I heard loads of guys go over to hook up with the Korean chicks (which I dont blame them as there r some pretty hot chicks there) sooo is it common for the foreign chicks to meet any decent guys? cos you know us foreign chicks are all fat.
So yes...basically.... it would be good to know if I should be filling my bags full of condoms or vibrators!!!
Would be good to get a bit of feedback from all ya chicks in Korea!

I suspect you can find what you're looking for in Korea if you're half decent yourself. There are quite a few models in Korea doing work (Boys and girls) and partying at different places in Seoul. It's not impossible to meet a western guy/girl, although it is harder. I don't agree with the posters who say that white guys go after Korean girls because they want to brag to their friends and all that stuff. I've seen plenty of losers in Korea who couldn't get a date with a decent Korean girl to save their life. That's really too bad for them, but those kind of guys wouldn't stand a chance with any woman back home either. Then again, I've seen some real slobs in western girls in Korea too. You get all kinds, and you gotta be picky.
But you're right, there are plenty of army boys in Korea for you to choose from...that kind of sums it up right there for you...
The decent looking men teaching English in Korea are sought after by decent looking Korean women.
The decent looking women teaching English in Korea are looking for something a little more, an officer in the army, or maybe another teacher from Australia or the UK, because hey - they have great accents!

The reason for my post was because I have just ended a 2 yr relationship because I wanted to travel and my partner isn�t able to. Hardest decision ever really and the thought of not having an opportunity of meeting a decent guy which is something to look at kinda scares me really.
This post was asking for an insight from chicks in Korea on what the western guys in korea are like� whether they just have an asian fetish, perhaps they are just too ugly to score any western chicks in their homeland some come here solely to save their self-esteem OR whether they are a hard case, here for a laugh and to make cash, into westerners themselves and decent enough for a chick to check em out.
Ive meet a few guys that have taught in Korea and to be honest�they fit the description of the first two which has got me a bit worried�..

 I agree. The guys like to discuss in endless detail every aspect of the Korean women, but one little post about the availability of attractive men, and they are immediately defensive.
In any case, if you want some play here, you should bring a guy with you or cozy up to the Korean lads, because white boys mostly want someone "exotic" and hot (i.e. Korean) so they can brag to all their friends. Uh, I mean - so they can broaden their cultural horizons by truly connecting on a deep spiritual level with a exceptional human being of a different culture. |

Wow. Assumptions layered on generalizations.
I know of quite a few successful westerner-pairings made in Korea over the years. I know even more Western women who did quite well with the GI-types as well as other Western males. But I'm not sure you'll ever hear about those positive stories in a thread like this, set up as it was. Nor will you have much success if you're projecting the conclusion that every Western male who ever taught in Korea must be an Asiaphile.
It is telling though that Western men are (in general - yes, another generalization) far more interested in dating Korean women than Western women are interested in Korean men, at least before they get here. |
