I'm planning a trip to Shanghai next week and don't have much time to organise. I am Australian and understand I need to get a VISA to enter. The travel agents are quoting me 60,000 won is this correct?

I don't know what the price is for Australians, but it sounds normal. As an American, I actually paid a bit more than that.

It might be that they are charging you for an express visa.

Sounds about right for that. Let me check their website.

OK...

Here's what it says.

For people from countries other than the US, a single entry visa is 35,000 won. Express is 24,000 extra. So he is charging 1,000 won for his service.

Good deal.

LOL.
