I saw that in drug stores growing up, but what, the hey, is it used for? I might be able to help you if only I knew what it was! |

witch hazel ճ
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Witch hazel extract, which is distilled from the bark and twigs
of the witch hazel shrub, has been utilized in medicine.

Maybe you can ask for it at a pharmacist? If not the Western style, maybe the Han-yak?
Or, are you talking about this stuff:

not to be overlypersonal, but i'm getting icky spider viens on my legs from standing all the time and i read that witch hazel would help get rid of them. also, i bruise really badly (moreso recently) and witch hazel is what i used to us at home for bruises and sun burns.

Hmmmmm ... yah, this has got me thinking.
What other good stuff don't they have here?
I found some decent SAINT JOHN's WORT TEA at that French giant chain supermarket outlet:
Crappy-poo ( Ǫ ) sic ...
Where's the ECHINACHEA?
"HEMP" SOAP is majorly hard to find.
What other GENUINE "well-being" ( i.e. natural & organic ) are they missing out on here?
Outta sight ... outta mind ...
( well at least until they hear about if from an "authority" ) |

At the drug stores in the mighty mighty US, they label the bottles Witch Hazel (with no broomstick picture though, regrettably--I had half a mind to drink or smoke it to see if any kewlness could be had, but didn't. There's a great thread about "Silica Gel" and imbibing it.). Blow against the wind? I see and hear ya, but there it is. |
